Assists in the recovery of tissues such as bone, tendons, dura, skin, veins, pericardium, and heart valves for transplantation. Transports equipment and supplies, and manages inventory of recovery supplies. Ensures the recovery site meets the Standards of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB).

Performs tissue recovery, preservation, and bioburden testing procedures according to departmental policies. Stays current on existing policies and procedures related to tissue recovery. Reports on time to designated areas when called to participate in tissue recovery.

Promotes and participates in a team approach with other staff members. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of operating room set-up, sterile technique, prepping, draping, and surgical instrumentation [Required] Ability to work collaboratively with team members [Required] Strong organizational and time management skills [Required] Anatomy and Physiology [Preferred] Physical assessment skills [Preferred] Work

1+ hospital/clinical experience [Required] Previous Tissue Recovery Experience [Preferred] Licenses and
