Certifications
✓Ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons (ACS) trauma registry standards and state reporting requirements.
✓Stay current on trauma registry standards, coding updates, and best practices.
✓Must hold at least one of the following certifications: Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) or Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS) or Surgical Clinical Reviewer (SCR) certification required.
2 years relevant experience, Trauma Registry experience strongly preferred
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
Prefer experience supporting an ACS-verified Trauma Center. preferred
Prefer experience with trauma quality improvement initiatives and regulatory reporting. preferred
