About the role

The Trauma Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care. The TPM works both independently and in collaboration with the trauma services medical director and other members of the health care team and the management staff.

The Trauma Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care. The TPM works both independently and in collaboration with the trauma services medical director and other members of the health care team and the management staff. The TPM is self-directed and self-motivating, plans and conducts work with minimal direction, and reports the progress of work to the director of nursing.
