Qualifications

✓Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.

Familiarity with ICD 10 Diagnosis and procedure coding preferred.
Familiarity with Abbreviated Injury Scale/ Injury Severity Scores (AIS/ISS) preferred.

Familiarity with coding for billing or data purposes using ICD -10, AIS, or CPT preferred

About the role

This position, under minimal supervision, ensures all aspects of care for the trauma patient are entered into the trauma registry. This position is responsible for abstracting data from the electronic health record in accordance with the National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB) and state of Colorado standards.
