It is a 497‑bed, full‑service acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission as an Acute Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center. The hospital provides Level II trauma services and 24/7 emergency care, including a dedicated pediatric emergency department, and offers maternity care, Level III neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, minimally invasive surgery, and open‑heart surgery. The system also includes a freestanding ER in Vero Beach and a Breast Center in Tradition.
In addition, Lawnwood supports medical education through ACGME‑accredited residency programs in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Transitional Year.
