Licensure
✓Current New Mexico Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (DMS-NM) required
✓provisional or temporary licensure may be considered.
Certifications
✓Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities
✓Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions)
✓ARDMS registry eligible at time of hire.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, including completion of an associate degree, diploma, or equivalent ultrasound-specific coursework required.
✓Specialized vascular ultrasound training from a vocational or technical program may be considered in combination with prior general ultrasound training.
Qualifications
✓Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern)
✓Must obtain and maintain two (2) ARDMS registries within two (2) years of hire.
Previous experience in general and vascular ultrasound preferred.
