✓This full-time position covers the Eastern Shore region of Maryland, with equal coverage across our Kent Island, Easton and Denton
✓UM Urgent Care providers serve as clinical leaders in our centers—delivering exceptional medical care, fostering outstanding patient experiences, and working collaboratively in a close-knit team environment with medical assistants and radiologic technologists.
✓We care for patients ages one and older, treating a wide range of conditions including upper respiratory infections, sprains and strains, lacerations requiring sutures, employee health physicals, work-related injuries, and preoperative evaluations.
✓Providers work 12-hour clinical shifts (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.), typically 3 to 4 shifts per week, totaling approximately 12–14 shifts per month. Urgent care is a fast-paced, dynamic environment that offers a broad spectrum of patient presentations, ranging from acute illness to minor injuries
✓While not required, prior clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, intensive care, or primary care settings—whether as a provider, nurse, or technician—is strongly preferred.
