Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab (On-Call) in Morristown, New Jersey. Location Morristown, NJ Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift
7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. On-call requirements apply.
The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include scrubbing in for diagnostic, cardiac interventional, and peripheral procedures while caring for adult and geriatric patients. The technologist will prepare patients for examinations, function in various roles such as case recorder, circulator, and scrub assistant, and report any clinical changes in patient conditions to the RN or physician.
This role involves performing point of care testing per CLIA guidelines, documenting all procedures meticulously, including labeling studies and entering charges, and maintaining sterilization and infection prevention standards. Responsibilities Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Caring for adult and geriatric patients during procedures.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Function as case recorder, cardiac circulator, and scrub assistant. Report clinical changes in patient conditions to RN or physician.
Perform point of care testing following CLIA guidelines. Document all procedures accurately, including labeling and entering charges. Address equipment malfunctions and assist in maintaining the work area.
Ensure adherence to sterile procedures and infection prevention standards. Required Experience Minimum of two years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred. Experience with diagnostic and cardiac interventional procedures required.
Certifications/Licensure RCIS certification preferred. BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
