Days, 4 x 9.5-hour shifts (7:00a–5:00p) Contract length: 13 weeks Call: 1–2 weekends of STEMI call Requirements Licensed radiologic technologist Cardiac cath lab experience IABP experience BLS and ACLS RCIS preferred High school diploma or GED The Role Set up and prep for cardiac caths, PCI/STEMI, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and IR procedures Prepare patients for procedures Assist the physician before, during, and after procedures Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data Assess and manage access sites and report to the physician Follow the cath lab on-call protocol
