Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 23, 2026 Length: 16 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN with CRRT, Swan-Ganz, and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) experience for a night shift position requiring a UT or compact RN license. Details Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:30-7:00), with rotating day/night possible 16-week assignment length Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active UT or compact RN license required (pending license accepted but must be in hand prior to start) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of CVICU RN experience required Required experience with CRRT, Swan-Ganz, and mechanical circulatory support (MCS) Experience with Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, and ECMO required Epic charting experience required Skilled in IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central and PICC line care Experience managing ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, and suctioning Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation monitoring Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and multisystem organ dysfunction care Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to post-cardiac surgery and complex cardiovascular patients Up to 10 days RTO available per 13-week contract, prorated for other contract lengths First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous full-time employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances Local candidates not accepted; must reside at least 100 miles from the facility Candidates living within the state of Utah are considered local and are not eligible
