Details Emergency Department at a regional health center with 217 licensed beds 17-bed ER unit seeing approximately 40 visits per day Patient ratio of 1:6 Patient population is mainly adults and geriatrics Uses MediTech EHR Shift runs 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM Every other weekend required Call coverage required to support 24/7 ER volume Requirements Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) Current
BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility required Mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult) required 10-panel drug screening including opiates required Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB Iowa SING background check required, including criminal and child abuse portions Additional Information Provide emergency care to a primarily adult and geriatric patient population Facility offers a wide range of services including Critical Care, Med/Surg, Acute Rehab, OB, Pediatrics, Cath Lab, and more Monday or Tuesday start dates accommodated Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
