First Assist (RN)

Cardiac OR RNFA – URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, NY

• Primarily weekdays 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Call: Required based on unit needs
• Priority: High Required

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac RNFA experience
• Must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing
• Must be able to independently perform vein harvesting for CABG procedures
• Telemetry experience required Preferred

• First assisting in DaVinci robotic cases
• Scrubbing and circulating complex cardiac cases, including: CABG Structural heart procedures, including Bentall Minimally invasive procedures, including Mini Aortic Valve Replacement Heart failure cases, including Impella
• Heart transplant experience preferred Required License &

• Active New York RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• CNOR Certification Required License &

• Active New York RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
