We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) in our traveler program. The OR nurse will assist with surgical procedures, maintain a sterile environment, and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process. Candidates should have experience in perioperative nursing, including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
Key
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment. Assist the surgical team with tasks and duties during surgeries. Monitor the patient's condition and provide support as needed during procedures.
Collaborate in the planning and execution of care with the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with protocols and standards of care. Keep up to date with developments in surgical nursing practices.
Current and valid nursing license. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Previous experience in an operating room environment is preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Additional Information:This position is a traveling assignment, with opportunities to work in different locations. Candidates must have the flexibility to adjust to various schedules and settings within the scope of the assignment.
