Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float Pool We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to various units within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and must be willing to float to multiple departments as needed.
Position Information Role: RN Department: Float Pool Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48 Weekend Requirement: 75% of weekends required Call
None Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience, including 1 year of travel experience Floating
Must be able to float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU based on experience Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in Intermediate Care Units) Qualifications Must Have: 3 years of ICU experience Preferred Skillset: Experience with general ICU patients, such as those who are sedated, intubated, and on pressors Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC Personality Fit The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to outstanding patient care, exceptional team communication skills, and a desire to excel both as a part of our organization and as an individual.
Given the nature of the float pool position, candidates must be adaptable and prepared to accept a variety of assignments, potentially including multiple unit assignments within the same shift.
