Join a dedicated progressive care team as an Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse in Lawrence, KS. In this intermediate care unit setting, you will manage step-down and telemetry patient care, monitor continuous cardiac rhythms, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical staff across 12-hour night shifts. Requirements 1 year of recent IMC or Telemetry RN experience in a large facility or critical care setting Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License in hand Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand Floating flexibility as needed (2 East Intermediate Care, 2 North Medical, 3 West Post-Surgical, or 3 North Overflow Med-Surg/Negative Airflow) Essential progressive care clinical competencies and successful completion of orientation starting on Mondays
Combined ICU and Med/Surg or Step-Down clinical background Proficiency with mechanical ventilators, continuous cardiac monitoring, and titration of vasoactive drips Prior travel nursing contract experience (No new graduates)
