Qualifications
✓Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care
✓Experience with OB triage, antepartum, high-risk labor and delivery, and couplet care
✓Patient Ratio: 1:1–3
✓Floating: Required as needed
✓Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
✓Clinical Responsibilities & Skills
✓Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
✓Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
✓Circulate in the operating room during cesarean sections
✓Perform adult IV starts and administer blood and blood products
✓Manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, drains, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
✓Provide care for high-risk and low-risk antepartum patients, OB-GYN patients, and normal newborns
✓Deliver couplet care to mothers and newborns
✓Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care
✓Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal-fetal status
✓Float between assigned units as needed, according to competency

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Day Shift – 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Required

2 years Patient Ratio: 1:1–3 Floating: Required as needed Required Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Care. Experience with OB triage, antepartum, high-risk labor and delivery, and couplet care. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience must be screened for AWHONN Intermediate certification.

Required Certifications AWHONN Intermediate BLS Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) ACLS preferred Clinical Responsibilities & Skills Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
