🩺 RN – Labor & Delivery 📍 Louisville, Kentucky 📅 13 weeks – Possible Extension 🌙
6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 🏠 Local Candidates Accepted – Local Rate Applies Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Assess and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs Administer medications and treatments as ordered Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Recognize and respond to maternal and fetal complications Provide patient and family education and emotional support Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures
Active RN license Recent Labor & Delivery experience Strong knowledge of maternal and fetal assessment Experience with fetal monitoring and labor management Ability to care for high-risk OB patients preferred BLS certification required Additional certifications such as NRP and ACLS preferred/required based on facility requirements Must be able to work night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) Previous hospital experience preferred ✨ 13-week contract with possibility of extension!
