ASCP Unit Details: Blood Bank - irradiation, splitting blood products, plasma reduction on plateletpheresis Scrubs: Any color Performs all HPC processing and Cryopreservation procedures in the Hematopoietic Progenitor Cell Laboratory dictated by the laboratory methods outlined in the procedure manual. Maintains inventory, preventive maintenance, and particular quality control measures as established by the department.

Troubleshoots laboratory equipment when necessary. Performs quality assurance duties as dictated by the Director of the HPC Laboratory. Maintains technical proficiency and competency of HPC procedures as well as other clinical areas of the laboratory
