Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / LPCC / LMFT Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA Contract Length: 26 Weeks Start Date: 11/02/2026
40 Hours per Week Position Overview Seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide behavioral health and social services support for clients in the South Lake Tahoe region. This unique hybrid position includes onsite coverage at Barton Memorial Hospital, remote support for Marshall Medical Center, and additional services through the South Lake Tahoe County office.
Schedule 3 Day Shifts per Week: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2 Evening Shifts per Week: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM 40 Hours Weekly Responsibilities Provide psychosocial assessments and behavioral health support. Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans. Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and community resources.
Conduct crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed. Assist patients and families with discharge planning and community resource referrals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Deliver services both onsite and remotely as assigned. Qualifications Current CA license as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Experience in hospital, behavioral health, case management, or community health settings preferred. Assignment Details Hybrid role with onsite and remote responsibilities. Client interview required (Teams interview conducted directly by hiring manager).
