Operating within the Center for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and Neglect (CPEAN) Full Schedule Details:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
- Typical day shift – will discuss shift times in interview – client is flexible
Contract Requirements/Experience:
- Must have a Masters degree in social work
- Must be currently licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. LICSW preferred; LCSW considered if on path to LICSW and depending on relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, including both direct care and case management and/or care coordination; experience working with survivors of trauma strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the state Adult Protective Services system a plus.
- Will be expected to manage CPEAN’s elder abuse prevention phone line and email address, and timely
follow up on any referrals or inquiries
- Prior experience serving elder population required
- Local candidate with a reliable commute preferred
- Reliable transportation due to float expectation strongly preferred
- Team members are not expected or allowed to transport clients in their personal vehicles
