Terrell State Hospital is requesting a Licensed Vocational Nurse DESCRIPTION: The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Terrell State Hospital performs advanced vocational nursing work. Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals at Terrell State Hospital who have complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.
- Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
- Perform computer data entry – Receive full training.
- Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies, TSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
- Must possess valid LVN license.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
- Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
- Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
- Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
- Must complete facility and HHSC required training. Selection Process:

- TSH’s Agency Hiring Coordinator will communicate with the agency and candidate(s) on dates and times to begin the process of on-boarding.
