16 week contract – RN Med Surg Tsehootsooi Medical Center | Fort Defiance, AZ | 12 hour Night Shift. Seeking an experienced RN Med Surg who can handle adult geriatrics and pediatric patients with EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios: Non Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1. Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1.

Position Highlights: - FACILITY HOUSING OPTIONS AVAILABLE! -

12-Hour Night shift. Typical schedule is 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift/week. Must be flexible and open to days, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Maximum of two (2) Shift Call offs. RTOs for Thanksgiving and Christmas will not be acceptable. Minimum Qualification Required:

  • 3 Years of med-surg experience, 1 year pediatric experience required, MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH BOTH ADULT AND PEDIATRIC PATIENTS.
  • 20 bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics.
  • Must have a current valid and unrestricted license in the state of Arizona or Compact license.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS and PALS is required.
