Registered Nurse Float Pool - 12 Hour Days
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool. This position requires versatility as the nurse will be assigned to various inpatient units based on competencies including ICU, Step-down, and Medical/Surgical units. The role guarantees 48 hours per week and requires working weekends as scheduled.
Responsibilities Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Assist in the titration of drips in Step-down units. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, supported by monitor techs.
Participate in patient assessments and coordinate care plans. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experience in Med/Surg settings; Step-down experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments. Schedule This is a 12-hour day shift position, with shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Weekend work is required as scheduled.
