12H Night Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit in Burlington, VT. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a Float Pool, requiring flexibility and adaptability to various units, including Medical Surgical and Telemetry. You will be part of a dynamic team, providing exceptional patient care while floating to support areas such as hematology, oncology, orthopedics, neurology, and more.
As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a large trauma level 1 teaching facility and proficiency in EPIC within the last 2 years. Key
Float to various units within the central pool as needed. Provide care to patients in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units. Work a minimum of every other weekend and be flexible with scheduling.
Support areas including ED Boarders and possible surge areas.
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certification required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Experience in a large trauma level 1 teaching facility.
EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable. Additional Information: Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. Public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation is required.
Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete work history information is required for submission.
