Minimum 2 years of experience First-time travelers accepted AHA BLS required Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Medical-Surgical experience required Traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility Orientation and Contract Details: General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs. Start dates are flexible based on completion of compliance documents by the deadline. Confirmation must include 16 hours of non-billable orientation.
The hospital may cancel or call off one shift every two weeks due to decreased census, without financial penalty, under the applicable 36/36 or 36/48 employment schedule. Additional overtime shifts picked up beyond the committed schedule may be flexed based on census decreases or reduced resource needs, without penalty. Contract RNs/LPNs are expected to support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient-care responsibilities.
