Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview This position requires a dedicated registered nurse with expertise in Neuro ICU. The nurse will primarily work evening and night shifts, with the potential for 12-hour shifts and every other weekend. Holiday availability is also required as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Utilize Epic software for patient management and record-keeping. Qualifications Valid RN license required. Current BLS and ACLS certifications, accredited by AHA only.
Previous experience in an ICU setting is mandatory. Experience with neurosurgery patients is preferred. Willingness to work with telemetry patients and pass a telemetry test prior to starting.
Shift and Scheduling Shifts will primarily be evening/night, with 3x12 hour schedules available. Block scheduling is not utilized in this position.
