  • Cloverleaf and FHIR API Interface Eng 6 month minimum contract. Remote is fine but must be EST.
  • What's driving the need for this role? Is this net new work, a backlog, or replacing someone? – This is a new work
  • How hands-on is the Cloverleaf work vs. FHIR API development? What's the approximate split? 50:50 developer role for cloverleaf and FHIR API-
  • Is the EPIC FHIR certification a hard requirement, or would equivalent enterprise FHIR experience be considered? – EPIC would not grant access if developer is not eligible to work on EPIC. This is a epic requirement. Either certified of attested to get access to EPIC. The team OhioHealth is investing in new ways to serve our patient and provider community. The Integration/Interface Engineering team has been established to surface, build and incubate solutions focused on improving the patient/consumer experience. We are looking for skilled Interface engineers who can understand the current landscape of backend healthcare systems’ integration technology stack and can quickly build integration between EMR and other vendor applications using HL7 and FHIR API standards. Work you will do You will own, drive design, and develop integration/interfaces between OhioHealth clinical and corporate systems and vendor applications. Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, build and test interface using various tools including Cloverleaf and FHIR API standards.
  • Work with project leadership, project managers, architects, developers in other areas of the organization
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization and vendors to identify requirements.
  • Demonstrate work and gain approval from stakeholders. Qualifications
  • Certified from EPIC to work in EPIC FHIR API integration standards
  • Experience of FHIR APIs and Smart on FHIR integration approach.
  • Understanding of OAuth or other API authentication standards.
  • Experience in Cloverleaf interface engine, network protocols (TCP/IP, LU2) and application protocols (HL7, ANSI X12, XML).
  • Experience in API Integration, Debugging and Development
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile delivery methodologies Additional Experience with Software and Tools:
