Nursing Director / Nurse Manager – Inpatient Care A healthcare organization in York, Maine is seeking a Nursing Director or Nurse Manager to lead inpatient nursing services across Medical/Surgical and ICU areas. Position Highlights13-week contractFull-time | Monday–FridayTarget Start: October 12, 2026Leadership responsibility for Med/Surg and ICU nursing operationsResponsibilitiesOversee inpatient nursing operations, patient care, safety, and quality.
Lead and support nursing teams across Med/Surg and ICU. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Support nursing policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage nursing resources and departmental operations. RequirementsGraduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN required.
Active Maine RN license or Compact RN license in good standing. MSN preferred. Nursing leadership or specialty certification preferred.
