Occupational Therapist (School Services)

Occupational Therapist job opportunity looking for part time! A Physical Therapist is needed in the vicinity of Aurora, IL!

Our team-oriented approach ensures you have the resources and collaboration needed to thrive in your role. Provide occupational therapy services to students according to IEP requirements. Assess students' developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.

Develop, implement, and update IEP goals and progress reports for assigned students. Maintain accurate service logs and documentation to ensure compliance. Provide educational guidance and support to students during periods of confusion, frustration, or emotional distress.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, speech therapists, social workers, and other related service providers. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP meetings. Support students with disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional Disability (ED), Behavioral Disorders (BD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Current Illinois Occupational Therapy License. Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Experience working with special education students and students with developmental, behavioral, or neurodevelopmental disabilities preferred
