Required Certifications ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) Shift Notes Monday-Friday 830a-5pm with varied day off every other week; weeknight, weekend, holiday call rotation Years of Experience 2 Years Unit OR - Surgery - General (Major) - RN # Suites 5 Average # of cases per day 20-25 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS/ACLS (PALS would be ideal but not required) Common Cases General surgery, GYN surgery, Urology Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry Surgery - colon resections, basic lap gen surgery cases, hysterectomy and other lap GYN cases, basic urology and nephrectomy/prostatectomy, PCNL, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, shoulder replacement, knee scopes, shoulder scopes, and basic podiatry cases Experience or 'Must have' skills orthopedic surgery preferred; overall minimum 2 years in OR Scrubbing required - RN's preferred; but will take 1 traveler with the skill and 1 without Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift?
