Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Schedule options: Three 12-hour or four 12-hour shifts Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly Expected hours: 84 hours biweekly Unit: 23-bed Progressive Care Unit About the Unit The PCU cares for high-acuity cardiac and stroke patients. Nurses should be comfortable managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, and Cardizem. Floating to other PCUs may be required.

Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience required Strong PCU, progressive care, or stepdown experience Cardiac monitoring and cardiac/vasoactive drip management experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required RN license in hand before the assignment start date Epic experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Required flu vaccination; limited medical or religious exemptions may be considered Additional Information Previous travel nursing experience is required.

Strong cardiac, PCU/stepdown, and drip-titration skills are essential. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required. Epic experience is preferred.

Flu vaccination is required; medical or religious exemptions are subject to facility policy. Floating to other PCUs may be required. Include all requested time off with submission.

The facility will not accept requested time off spanning all holidays. Confirm the Texas RN license requirement and current license status before submission.
