$2,130-$2,250 Start Date: November 23, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 21, 2027 Openings: 2 Location: Williamsburg, Virginia Work Setting: On-site PCU Registered Nurse Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Virginia At least 1 year of recent professional nursing experience in a Progressive Care Unit, PCU, step-down, telemetry, or comparable acute-care setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and time-management skills Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts each week Progressive Care Nursing Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring progressive care, telemetry monitoring, and close clinical observation Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established care plans Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, laboratory results, and other relevant clinical data Collaborate with providers, nurses, ancillary departments, patients, and families to coordinate acute-care services Accurately document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care outcomes Promote patient safety, comfort, education, and continuity of care throughout each night shift Apply now for this Progressive Care Unit RN contract opportunity in Williamsburg, Virginia, and join a dedicated healthcare team.
