Pharmacist – Mercy Hospital Springfield, MO

Night shift, 8:30 PM–7:00 AM

7 on / 7 off, Thursday–Wednesday Contract: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week EMR: EPIC Facility: Mercy Hospital Springfield Location: 1235 E Cherokee St, Springfield, MO 65804 Department: Acute Care Pharmacy

Missouri Pharmacist License required BLS certification from AHA required

1 year required; new graduates will be considered Must be comfortable coordinating pharmacy workflow and checking medications.

Verify medications, IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, and prepackaged items. Check and restock crash carts and emergency medication kits. Coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy.

Oversee and redirect pharmacy technicians as needed. Additional Details: Training: Approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on experience and performance. Work Environment: Central pharmacy with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Call and weekend

As required by the facility. Flu Vaccine: Required from November 1 through April 1; only Mercy-approved exemptions accepted. Declinations are not accepted.
