Processes orders and prescriptions to provide medications and pharmaceutical supplies ordered by physicians and authorized medical practitioners. Advises physicians, healthcare staff, residents and patients in the safe administration of medication. Follows established, participates in the development of, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures for medication safety, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and compliance activities.
