Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, but not preferred. Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Cardiac Caths, Impella, Watchman, TAVR, ECMO, Clips, Peds (as young as days old - PFO etc.) and others Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
RN: BLS, ACLS
Cardiac Cath Tech: BLS, ARRT-R or RCIS Skills required:
RN: Sedation; Nurses will circulate, and monitor. RN is responsible for medication administration. If RN is trained and proficient to scrub cases, that is a bonus but not required at this time.
Cardiac Cath Tech: do not give medications but will scrub, circulate and monitor Support within the Department:
