Independently writes, communicates, and implements teaching interventions for patients, families, significant others. Delivers educational material using teaching principals and a variety of formats for new pediatric inpatients andoutpatients in group and individual sessions. Delivers educational material appropriate for identified needs utilizing knowledge of growth and development foroutpatients in group and individual sessions.
Assists to maintain diabetes supplies. Provides back up and assists other staff as necessary. NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist with orientation and training of personnel and students.
Participates and attends meetings as required and/ or assigned. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Prepares periodic reports as requested.
