REQUIRED ON ALL DARTMOUTH JOBS (NURSING AND ALLIED) All travelers must have 1 year of Level I Trauma experience within the last three years in a hospital with 300+ beds BILL - ! D/N Rotate or Nights Shift Options Available! - 36 or 48 hrs/wk*****ASSIGNMENT IS FOR MED SURG ONLY******** MUST HAVE SURGICAL EXPERIENCE32 bed SURGICAL UNIT MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CARING FOR PATIENTS AFTER VASCULAR, THORACIC, COLORECTAL AND GENERAL SURGERY.

The most common diagnosis’s on their unit: ARDS, esophagectomies, whipples, sepsisLNA ratios to patients: 1: 7-11 (unit shares with PCU)RN Patient ratios on days is 4:1 and on nights is 5:1Would they expect the traveler to float: yesRequired

- Chest tubes- Tubes- Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients- Trachs/Laryngectomies- Telemetry- Complex wounds- Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
