Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical - Neuro

REQUIRED ON ALL DARTMOUTH JOBS (NURSING AND ALLIED) All travelers must have 1 year of Level I Trauma experience within the last three years in a hospital with 300+ beds BILL - - D/N Rotation - 36 or 48hrs/wk21 Bed Med-Surg Neuro. Medical (Neuromuscular disorders, Meningitis), Primary Stroke Center, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, Surgical (Tumor resections (brain and spine), Spinal surgery, Head and neck cancer), Level IV Epilepsy center (implanted electrodes and scalp leads).

Only Epilepsy Center in Vermont and New Hampshire. Required Experience -- Chest tubes- Tubes- Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients- Trachs/Laryngectomies- Telemetry- Complex wounds- Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
