3x12 Night - 36HRS GWW Start Date: weekly orientation Local Rate within 60 Miles: See AM Certs Required: BLS Certs Preferred: ACLS Travelers are not expected to hold PALS certification or care for pediatric patients. Adult MS tele only. Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks per contract Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
Skills Required: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias Minimum 2 years experience required Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment Patient Diagnosis: Diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, general surgery (kidney stones, appendectomy, minor amputations), sickle cell crisis, GI bleed, diverticulitis, general medicine/observation Special Procedures/Unit Details: Most surgical cases are placed on our unit.
Large orthopedic program (total joints), colorectal surgeries, vascular procedures, bariatric surgery. Although the unit accommodates pediatric patients on that unit, travelers are not expected to hold PALS certification or care for pediatric patients. The Telemetry unit is adult only.
