Special
Adult oncology and hematology patients receiving outpatient infusion services, including solid tumor diagnoses (breast, lung, colorectal, prostate, gynecologic, etc.), hematologic malignancies (lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma), and benign hematology conditions requiring infusions, injections, blood products, iron therapy, hydration, and supportive care. Outpatient oncology/hematology infusion center providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, injections, supportive care, port access, central line management, and infusion reaction management.
Nurses utilize Epic/Beacon and provide oncology-specific patient education and symptom management. No blood products/transfusions administered at this location. Epic/Beacon oncology treatment plans, implanted port access equipment, central venous access devices, infusion pumps, CADD pumps, Dynamap vital sign monitors, emergency medication supplies, and telemonitoring capabilities for infusion patients.
