Role: RN - Short Stay Unit for a Non Employee-Nurse, Resp Therapy, Clinical Support
0.9FTE Day Position On Call: YES call is required (every 3rd-4th night and weekend) System
1 Year of EPIC preferred Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of experience in PACU Certifications Required: PALS, BLS, ACLS Patient Diagnoses: Screening colonoscopies, EGD's, general (hernia repairs, lap cholecystectomy, lap appendectomy, bowel obstruction) orthopedic (arthroscopies, total joints, ORIF's, trauma) OB/GYN (tubals, hysterectomies, cesarean sections) ENT, urology. Special Procedures: cardioversions in PACU, Blocks Job Summary Provides professional nursing direct patient care in compliance with professional practice and unit standards.
Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
