0700 - 1900 Self-scheduling not available Shift rotation rarely required Scheduling Requirements Weekend Requirement: Availability for 10 weekend shifts in 8 week schedule block On-Call Requirement: None Float Requirement: Levels 7, 8, 9, 10; CPCU; North & South Campuses Holiday Requirement: MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 2 OF THE 3 HOLIDAYS Position Requirements Minimum 2 years of Pediatric RN experience required Minimum 2 years of Medical/Pulmonary Pediatrics experience required Must have experience with: Tracheostomy care Ventilator management Chest tube management Previous travel experience preferred Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred Required
Licensure/Certification: BLS and PALS required Licensure/Certification: RN
BSN preferred Previous travel highly preferred but not required Float Policy Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competency to fulfill guaranteed scheduled hours. Travelers may be floated within the Denver Metro area up to thirty-five (35) miles from their originally assigned facility, unless otherwise noted in the individual assignment confirmation.
RTO & Vaccination Policy No RTO permitted during the first two (2) weeks of the assignment. Seasonal Influenza Vaccine required. Medical and religious exemptions accepted.
Additional Notes Strong pediatric pulmonary experience is required. Candidates must be comfortable caring for high-acuity trach, vent, and chest tube patients. Experience with ventilator-dependent pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Travelers should be prepared to discuss pulmonary and ventilator management experience during the interview.
