Registered Nurse - Step down

6 North is a 12 bed unit utilizing critical care and neuroscience principles at the Intermediate level. Common patient populations include patients transferring from the Neuro ICU. This unit takes care of patients who have experienced neuro trauma, subarachnoid, intraventricular or, intracerebral hemorrhage, ENT patients with cancer who have had a tumor resection and flap reconstruction, post-operative spine patients and a wide range of neurological problems.

Patient ratio of 1:3. Days 13 weeks 36s or 48s Every other weekend, every other holiday Can approve 40 hrs for time off BLS, ACLS required NIH required Must adhere to UVAs float policy Can submit with VA license pending Must have Epic experience
