Required qualifications and certifications Candidates must have the following: RRT credentials — Registered Respiratory Therapist. ABG license — as specified by the facility. ACLS — Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

BLS — Basic Life Support. PALS — Pediatric Advanced Life Support. NRP — Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

NICU experience — required. Important clinical requirements The facility does not have a dedicated NICU, but respiratory therapists must be able to stabilize neonates and, when necessary, provide mechanical ventilation while awaiting transport by flight team.
