Hourly range: $49.76 – $62.88 (based on experience) Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients
Initiate and monitor invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
Perform respiratory assessments and breathing therapies
Conduct postural drainage, percussion, and bronchial hygiene procedures
Perform bedside pulmonary function testing
Collect and analyze blood gases and perform associated quality control procedures
Respond to cardiac arrests and Rapid Response events
Perform CPR and emergency respiratory interventions
Provide respiratory care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Requirements
Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required)
New York State Respiratory Therapist License (Required)
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification through NBRC (Required)
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (Required)
ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association (Required)
Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
