Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Night Shift Location: Pittsfield, MA Contract: 13 Weeks Start Date: November 16, 2026
Nights Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
10-hour night shifts; every other weekend and holidays as needed
Minimum 2 years of MLS/MT experience, including 1 year of recent experience. Active national certification required; ASCP preferred. NCCT is not accepted.
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required. Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred. MLS/MT candidates only; MLT candidates will not be considered.
Must have reliable personal transportation. Permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility. Submission
Complete work history. Current MLS skills checklist. One supervisory reference signed within the past two years.
Copies of active national certification and BLS. Permanent address and all requested time off must be provided at submission. Important Scheduling Notes: Candidates must be available to work holiday blocks as scheduled, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods.
No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. All time-off requests must be disclosed before submission; requests made after submission or during the interview will not be approved.
