Position OverviewPediaStaff is seeking experienced Paraprofessionals, Nurse’s Aides, and CNAs to support students in a Multi-Intensive special education classroom at Fairview High School in Boulder, CO.
This is a specialized school-based position supporting students with significant medical, physical, and special education needs. Candidates must have both hands-on medical experience and at least two years of special education public school classroom experience. ResponsibilitiesProvide direct classroom and 1:1 support to students with intensive needsAssist with diapering and personal care for female studentsProvide G-tube feedings and G-tube cleaning/careSupport students who use ventilatorsRecognize seizure activity and follow established seizure protocolsSupport students with Rett syndrome, including safely managing outburstsAssist with classroom routines, activities, mobility, and daily living needsCollaborate with teachers, nurses, therapists, and other school staffMaintain student safety, dignity, and confidentialityBe flexible and willing to support the classroom wherever neededRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of special education experience in a public school classroomPrevious nursing, nurse’s aide, CNA, or comparable hands-on medical experienceExperience working with medically complex students or patientsComfortable with G-tubes, vents, seizure protocols, diapering, and personal careReliable transportationFlexible, dependable, and team-orientedMedical experience must be clearly reflected on the candidate’s resumeSchedule DetailsASAP – May 21, 202735 paid hours per week2.5 hours of unpaid lunches per weekPosition follows the student attendance calendarApproximately 2–3 additional training days may be required during the school yearWhy Join PediaStaff?
