ESS Clinical is hiring Full-time School Social Workers in Denver Public Schools! Pay starting from $69/hr up to $79/hr Choice between W2 or 1099 opportunities No Non Competes in our contracts!

Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license in Social Work required Experience in school-based setting required Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of child development, behavior management, and counseling techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, families, and staff.

Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to special education and student support services. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives. Key

Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students' specific needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support student success.

Advocate for students' rights and ensure they have access to necessary resources and services. Offer crisis intervention services when needed and provide support during difficult situations. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and regulations.

Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Promote a positive school climate through the implementation of programs and initiatives that address bullying prevention and social-emotional learning.
