Full-Time FACS Teacher – Grades 7–12 Margaretville Central School | Margaretville, NY Start Date: 09/02 End Date: 06/25 Bill Rate: $100 Margaretville Central School is seeking a NYS-certified Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) teacher for a full-time position serving students in grades 6 –12. The position will include middle school FACS courses and high school electives, Cultural Foods, Children in Families, and Clothing & Textiles We are looking for a student-centered, collaborative teacher who enjoys hands-on learning and connecting classroom experiences to real-world skills, career exploration, and life beyond school. Ideal candidate:
NYS FACS certification, grades 6–12
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Enjoys hands-on, engaging instruction
Able to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
Willing to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community
