Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Start Date: 11/18/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading healthcare team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Beaufort, SC. This contract position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers an exciting opportunity for RNs with a passion for patient care. You will be working in a dynamic environment where your skills will be essential in providing high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care.
This role requires: 2 years of Med Surg experience Experience in Step Down/PCU Comfort with floating to Med Surg and Tele units SC nursing license (must be obtained prior to starting) BCLS certification IV start skills Key responsibilities include: Providing nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit Floating to Med Surg and Tele units as needed Maintaining patient ratios of 1:4-5 in Step Down and 1:5-6 in Med Surg This position is for night shifts, working 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
Please note that you cannot live within 50 miles of the facility, and first-time travelers are accepted. Scrubs are not provided; royal blue and white scrubs are required. The facility uses Meditech (SE) for electronic medical records.
